One thing that sometimes fixes it is changing their career outfit to something else (plan outfit at a dresser), then change their outfit. Simple enough to see if that will fix it for you is just make the sim take a shower afterwards and see if they hop out and change into their normal clothes.
That's not unusual. You don't have to actually go to University to get some of its effects in your regular game. As an example, go to some place where Sims normally congregate (the Bistro or somesuch) and see how many of them break out their megaphones and soapboxes or start practicing the school cheer. One saving grace is that Sims won't streak or skinny dip on any lot where there are teens or children, but forgetting to put their clothes on after getting out of the shower? Uhm, yeah.
I've not seen this bug before, and I don't know if my suggestion will address it, but you (and really, anyone playing this game) should check out a couple of mods that will help make the game more stable.
The mods are Overwatch and Error trap, and you can get them here:
Overwatch - http://nraas.wikispaces.com/Overwatch
Error Trap - http://nraas.wikispaces.com/ErrorTrap
These mods will help keep the game performing well, and prevent save files from becoming corrupt over time. They don't fix everything, but the game does run a lot better, and neither mod impacts gameplay at all.
yeah neither one of those address the nude bug, sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't.
I tried a couple of things, but I think it may be related to how I was saving the game. When I started to use "save and quit" each time it got better, could also have started with a shower when pick up arrived, unsure. Also noticed that when it was glitched out that when I went to click on the sim to change clothes the picture of the uniform I was supposed to wear was empty. Since then I always wait when using the change clothes option until all pictures are loaded...<have a slower pc>

You may also need the cheats module.
Switch into work clothes, then "Plan Outfit" at a dresser. Make a new work outfit, then click the tabs for the older ones and remove them.
