Report a translation problem
The first way is done through Edit Town mode. Once you're in that mode, you can then click on your house and use the "Merge" function to move one of the members in with another household. Of course, this means you first have to split them up with the "Split Up" function.
The second is easier.
1) Use the phone and choose "Real Estate and Travel Services".
2) Use the "Moving" choice, and then pick "Within This Neighborhood".
3) In the Moving screen, only move ONE of the sims.
4) Find a home for that sim to live.
This makes that sim not part of the household anymore.
Have them propose to and marry someone else. You will then be given the option which family will remain as the active household. I think you can exclude them at that point and they will have to go live with their new spouse.
