The Sims™ 3

The Sims™ 3

Does this game go on sale often still?
I wanna purchase it with all DLC but hoping to know whether or not I should wait for a sale. Thanks.

The "Sims 3 Collection" bundle is already heavily discounted, and I guess whoever runs Steam sales thinks an additional 50% off, as was the sale price for the first year after the bundle was released, is too cheap.

I'm tempted to just purchase the bundle as is, thanks for the info.

Do you know how much memory the game requires with all DLC installed?

If you prefer lower prices over Steam, I heard Target had some deal with EA, or at least they did back in the mid-2010s, to have the best sales on their games. My Target still has Sims 3 expansions in the clearance, so it is worth checking there. I also have had luck at discount stores. I've collected almost all the expansion I wanted over the years.

But obviously Steam is worth extra money.

dont b surprised if you wont ever be able to play the game. It has issues with the launcher which is mandatory to use... You see it on every forum ppl cant open the game... just be warned

I'm tempted to buy this one just to have it as part of the collection. I own the 4th one with a large portion of it's DLC's, but this just hits on the memory lane.

I want a Sims game for Steam Deck and can't decide wether to purchase 3 with all DLC or play 4 and maybe purchase some packs.

With the Steam version of the game you don't need the launcher. You can go into the game files and launch it from the TS3W.exe file. The "W" indicates the Steam version of the game, so you should only use that launch file, not the other one.
I wanted this game for Steam Deck, but I already installed Sims and Sims 2.

So, I'll just play those for now.
