GOOD, I COME TO EXPRESS MY DISSATISFACTION WITH THIS GAME, FOR A LONG TIME SINCE I HAD THE ILLUSION OF BEING ABLE TO PLAY IT PROPERLY AND I HAD PROBLEMS, THE BASE SIMS GAME AS WELL AS THE EXPANSION BRINGS A CODE WHICH YOU ENTER WITHIN THE GAME OR THROUGH THE OFFICIAL PAGE OF THE SIMS 3 TO COMPLETE THE GAME REGISTRATION OK? ON THE ONE PART, NOW... THE PROBLEM IS AS FOLLOWS IF I DON'T REGISTER THE BASE GAME, I LOSE ONLINE GAMEPLAY AND IT IS SPECIFICALLY FOR THAT REASON THAT I BUY THE GAME, TO PERFORM THOSE FUNCTIONS WHICH ARE NOT ALLOWED BECAUSE THE PAGE OFFICIAL OF THE SIMS 3 TELLS ME THAT THE CODE THAT STEAM GIVES ME IS INVALID AND THE SAME HAPPENS WITHIN THE GAME IF I WANT TO REGISTER IT WITH THE SAME CODE, I MADE A TEST OF BUYING ONLY THE BASE GAME IN QUESTION IN ANOTHER STEAM ACCOUNT BUT THE THING HAPPENS MYSELF, I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO, CAN SOMEONE HELP ME? I ALREADY CALL EA SUPPORT AND THEY TELL ME TO CLAIM WITH STEAM BUT THEY WILL NOT PROVIDE ME WITH ANOTHER CODE AND I KNOW IT, I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO, PLEASE IF SOMEONE CAN HELP I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT REGARDS.

Contact EA Help on Twitter or Facebook and ask again. Sometimes EA support reps aren't the most helpful, and the only thing you can do is keep asking until you find someone who understands the issue.

On the other hand, if you bought the game through Steam and then refunded it, that would explain why the key was invalid. I'm not accusing you, just saying you wouldn't be the first.

I did not refund the product, from the beginning the code of the base game did not work, I tried it with two different steam accounts buying the game twice and although it was something silly it did not give me a solution, I called EA support and The only thing they did was tell me to claim with Steam, but what does Steam help me with? the other DLCs of the same game registered perfectly, but the base game does not :(.
