IMO generations

Depends on whether you think stuff associated with growing up or having weather is more important to your game. I tend to go with Generations as being generally more useful and putting less of a strain on your system, but they're both excellent.

Generations is certainly more fun. Seasons is just there to look pretty. If you like that sort of thing, go for it. But between the two, I'd honestly get Seasons despite Generations being more enjoyable. Seasons is always there and always affecting your Sims while Generations is only there for part of their lifespan. That's not to say though I don't really love Generations. It's just if I had to choose it'd be Seasons.

Really though it's up to what you want. But I'd suggest getting both. Wait for a sale if it's too expensive.

What other dlc's would you recommend besides the two that I listed?

Generations

I'd get both, as they're both excellent and I can't decide between them. They both add a lot of content to the game. Just wait for summer sale, shouldn't be long now. Other EP's that are really good include university life, into the future, and ambitions. I'm biased though: I have them and love them all, even Island paradise :P

Generations. I mean, it puts pillow fights back in, and that's almost enough as it is. It also adds things like anniversary parties for your Sims, new interactions for every stage of life, and so on.

If I wanted other packs besides Generations, I'd pick Seasons and Ambitions. Both those add a lot of small but nice things that really flesh out Sims' lives.
Seasons for sure, weather is awesome, and snowboarding is to cool

I love supernatural & late night, the next on my list is generations & ambitions.
The rest are kind of useless to me.:steamhappy:

Does Late Night place ltos of stress on lower end computers?

Generally not. Officially all any of the expansion packs require is more hard disk space, and a total of 4 GB RAM for the game + expansions. In actuality, I think people have the most trouble with Pets and Island Paradise, then some have issues with Seasons if they don't have a dedicated video card.

I would also suggest Generations dlc because it brings more life to your sims. You can do more family things, etc. You can also do laundry :P All seasons does is add weather, which will allow your sims to do more seasonal stuff.
