Why do people use those terrible looking skin mods?

Well, I believe the original working title for the original Sims game was actually Dollhouse, so yeah that sounds about right. :)

I totally feel the same wayand i hate those weird plastic doll looking skins wish everyone would just appreciate sims for what they are thenagain everyone has their own preferences

Lots of mods. . . .search for NRaas, TSR (the sims resource) and modthesims. Thousands of mods exist for this game.
