Unable to download Riverview world

I previously downloaded the world Riverview from the store. Since then, I have restarted my PC. When I attempt to download from the launcher/download dashboard it results in an error (Status on download screen has the red O with a line through it). When I attempt to re-download it on the store (from the world download page as well as my purchase history) nothing happens.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, thank you!

Restarting your PC shouldn't mean that you need to reinstall Riverview. Maybe you wiped your PC and installed the game over?

If so, what version does the launcher believe your game is (from lower left of launcher)?

Sorry, by restarted I meant restarted from factory settings. The version says 0.0.0.0 (Guessing that's the problem?).

This was the suggested fix from Steam support, posted in another thread. AFAIK, no one has tried this one and reported back yet as to whether it works.

1. Exit Steam entirely.
   
   
2. Browse to your Steam installation (typically under C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\)
   
   
3. Rename the "steamapps" folder to "old_steamapps".
   
   
4. Re-launch Steam and re-install The Sims 3.
   
   
5. Once the installation is complete, test the issue.
   
   
6. If this resolves the issue:
   
   1. Copy the new The Sims 3 files from "steamapps" into the "old_steamapps" folder.
      
   2. Delete the "steamapps" folder.
      
   3. Rename "old_steamapps" to "steamapps" (to restore your other games without re-downloading).
   
   
7. If the issue is not resolved, you can simply delete "steamapps" then rename "old_steamapps" back to "steamapps" in order to avoid having to re-install other games.
