Simpoints

Hi, I've just started to play with The Sims 3.
Do you know how to buy Simpoints? I only got the 500 from the base game.

In Origin, search the store for "simpoints." In the EA App, click on the Sims 3 icon, then the Add-ons button, then The Sims 3 Currency. Either way, select the number of points you want and check out. The points will then be available once you sign into the Sims 3 Store with the same email address and password you used in the app.

Make sure you're signing into the same EA account where you've registered your Steam purchases (or whatever type of purchase you registered to get 500 points). Otherwise, you'll be able to buy whatever you want with the points you get, but you won't be able to install the content into your game.

I only have The Sims 3 on Steam, what should I do? Origin website I think it doesn't exist anymore.

You can register the game on thesims3.con (as its 20 digit code click down on under My Account on Register a Game) if you some EPs except World Adventures is better you register it in EA app as if you register on thesims3com you will not get simpoints),

You'll need to install Origin or the EA App. You don't need to launch or even install Sims 3 through the app; just sign into the same account you used when registering your copy of the base game. Even if you used the Sims 3 Store site before and have never signed into Origin, the two share information.

Origin.com was taken offline a couple weeks ago, and ea.com doesn't list SimPoints for purchase, at least not at the moment.
