Only way to bypass Origin is to play TS3 in offline Steam mide. And only way to install CC Sims3pack mods and other content is to d/l and use the Magic CC mod. Good luck!
I'm not sure what you're talking about. The Origin version of Sims 3 has a launcher, and it allows the installation of Sims3Packs just like the other versions' launchers. There's no need to use CC Magic, which often causes more problems than it solves and has a somewhat steep learning curve.
When you buy Sims 3 from Steam, you can in fact install it and run it through Steam, without involving Origin at all. This has always been the case since Sims 3 was first offered through Steam. You can also bypass the launcher by using TS3W.exe (with the W, not TS3.exe) in either a Steam or disc install, and there's a way to do it in an Origin install too if you're comfortable messing around with the game's program files.
