Sims 3 duplicate map bug

alright so this started today after I was going through some mods, because one of them had extra clothes added to the sim package without me noticing it.

after i uninstall the downloaded content I reinstalled everything, and everything was fine except for the 2 maps, both of which had another copy

these were the two custom maps Great Bear {1} and CAS {1}- favorite maps

is there anyway to remove the duplicates and keep the originals any solution would be thankful

I uninstall them both and when I redownloaded them again and started up the game and selected a world the duplicates and originals are still there

Typically the {1} indicates the duplicate (the copy downloaded/installed after the original). Try renaming the world by tacking something meaningless to the game onto the end (.world to .world.duplicate for example) and see where that gets you. If it fixes the problem, you're set. If not, you can remove the dummy extension and be no worse off than before.
