Taken away Pet is not on Adoption List

My Pets were taken away by the Social service, I've seen them on the list on the first few days but I couldn't take them back right away because of the "wait quite a while" thing and now they're not even on the list anymore.

Is this a bug?

The really odd thing is that you can actually see them on the list after they got taken away. Once a pet or even a child is taken away by social workers, they should be gone for good.
Of course if they changed it or there's more to it than what I know about pet adoption, the pets may simply be put on a list of "taken aways" and put into rotation of the pet adoption service. Keep checking the phone and see if you can find it back.

Well, this game has story progression, and I'm not sure if it's advanced enough for it, but maybe someone else already adopted your pets?

Actually my Sim did tried it for about a whole Sim week, my Sim went door to door from one Sim house to another and just peekin through the window and they were like "Mr Fireman you're creepin me out please go away"

My Sim is a busy fireman (Fireman of the year in his town) who couldn't hire a butler to take care of the dogs at home but he always made sure that they're always well fed, somehow that wasn't enough for the social workers.

My Sim camped out the dog park using a tent, and lived on apples that he *poofed* into existance magically and just waited.. and waited there..

After a while my Sim couldn't take it and decided to take it to the higher up.

But they didn't listen to my Sim angry outcry so my Sim tried to re-adjust to his normal everyday but it still didn't quite felt right to him.

One day he snapped.. he walked to the adoption center and decided "If they can take my BFF away from me.. I have just as much right to take their life.."

He proceeded to ring the door bell on the backdoor, a lady Sim answered the door "Hello sir, would you like to adopt a pet? we have cats and do-"

My Sim just walked up to her emotionless and told her a joke "What's black and burnt like ashes? You are, soon" as he quickly drew his wand and set her on fire.

Her neighbour heard her screaming so they came by to save her but my Sim didn't like that so he also set them on fire too..

Nobody expected my Sim to be the murderer he is the Fireman of the year in this town afterall..

And so my Sim was never the same again..

Lmao they're probably long gone (rest in peace dogu's), but that doesn't mean my Sim won't errect monuments from more deaths of the Sims in his town in rememberance to his dogu's..

Anyway it turned the story really dark I was expecting a happy story lol I guess that's "The Sims" for you.. You'll never know how the story will go, which is actually pretty interesting.

It'll be a pretty interesting review material "Mass Murderer on the loose, City Firefighter equipment unmaintained multiple fire inside the city, Fire Chief told Sims to remain inside their home and promised to visit them on by one to ensure their safety and that there's nothing to worry about" Golden.

But still wouldn't it be hilarious if my Sim dogu's actually showed up again on the adoption list and my Sim mass murdered the whole city for nothing lol.
