Downloaded lots not showing up in game

Does anyone know why the houses I have downloaded from the sims3 store aren't showing up when in game? I can see all of them in the EA games sims3 downloads folder. They were appearing before I made a mistake deleting some files I shouldn't. I thought I got them all back but the info isn't showing up in game so I am wondering if there is another folder somewhere I am missing. The lots also show up in the sims3 launcher so I don't know why I don't see them in game.

When you say the lots show up in the launcher, do they show up in the Downloads tab or in the Installed Content tab? The Downloads tab just shows the contents of ...\The Sims 3\Downloads; these items aren't actually installed yet and won't show up in-game.

You need to check off each lot in the Downloads tab and click the Install button to install them. Once you do, each lot will have its own file in ...\The Sims 3\Library. If you delete these files, the lots will disappear again.

They were all in the installed. I had it checked to run without custom content so even the lots themselves wouldn't show up in the game I guess. Works fine now that I unchecked that setting.
