Where do I give my sim a makeover?

so one of my sims just aged up to an adult, and she is going through a midlife crisis. one of the wishes that my has is Get a Makeover. the text of the wish says to go to the salon to do this, but when I go to the salon, there are only three options: manicure,pedicure, and mani/pedi/soak; no option for makeover. is there somewhere else I need to go?

I don't know if this matters, but i am playing on the Moonlight Falls town, and the book store and spa are on the same lot.

Yeah, it's not the spa (which is where you're looking) that you need to send her to, it's the salon, if your town has one. This is the place where the local stylists work. It's the same place they can get a tattoo.

I believe that the the place I went to is the salon also. when I select between the spa and bookstore the spa has an option for salon, but it only has those threeoptions i mentioned. that lot is also where I can get tatoos

OK, you don't get the option from the click-on menu, you have to have your Sim go inside (it's not a rabbithole like the Spa is), and then click on either the styling station or the stylist Sim. You also have to be sure you do it during business hours, as there won't be a stylist there in the evenings/at night.

Well the situation resolved itself. I had my sim go get therapy at the hospital to get rid of the negative moodlet; and here is the kicker: about an hour after I did that, I was scrolling around town in the city view, and I happened to mouse over another business, which happened to be the right salon I was looking for. Thanks for responding to me though.
