How to install Mods

How do I install mods for the steam version of Sims 3 It installed to steamapps/common and when I go to it the folders it shows are caches, ep5, game, gamedata, install, support, thumbnails I need to know so I can install some cool mods please help

Do read the README inside the mod!

Usually, your mods should be placed on your Mods folder inside your "%documents%\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3" folder.

This is mine:
D:\Data\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods

If Mods directory are not available, just create it and put the mod there.

You will also need a Resource.cfg file, else the mod will not work.
