Lol as much as I would agree with you, especially in FPS's. Keyboard and mouse isn't too good when laying down in bed or on the sofa to play a game that doesn't need fast reactions.

They don't work out too well, I know I've tried. I use the computer for my shooters, and Steam link for my more relaxing games that I can play in bed or on the sofa. Also if I bring my gaming keyboard and mouse to bed with me and a lap board, I could be single again lol.
After playing this now, Steam Controller will be fine, however an xbox controller or any other would be an issue.
Remember a steam controller is designed with mouse and keyboard in mind so everything from typing names and comand keys can be done with ease. Anything a mouse track pad can do can be done as well with the built in track pad on the controller as well.
I think a lot of people assume this is unplayable because they are using basic controllers. Steam controller is not a basic controller, it's built around the idea of needing a keyboard and mouse at times for games.
