Can't allow adult clothes for teenager in Master Controller CAS settings.
I seem to recall on a previous playthrough I was able to set the CAS settings in Master Controller to Allow Adult Clothes for Teen. Now I don't even see it as an option. Any thoughts?

You may be thinking of the "Disable Clothing Filter" setting (NRaas->Master Controller->Settings->CAS->Disable Clothing Filter). That being said, the teen models are slightly smaller and thinner than the adults, so there will likely be issues with meshes and seams.

That's not the correct option. The filter removals are what would allow swimwear to be used as formal and sleepwear as outerwear, etc. The options should be on MC > Settings > CAS > Category Changes > Allow Adult Clothes (or Accessories) for Teens. But yes, there is no guarantee they are going to stick or look right if one tries that.

CATEGORY CHANGES! Thanks! that's what I was missing. Tried looking it up on google, but the official NRAAS advice forgot to mention Category Chg.

I'm blaming Google for bring back that result and Twallan for posting it (my believing it is secondary to "it was on the internet" - LMAO). Because of the differences in the teen and adult models, I just use CC designed for each and haven't messed with either setting.

This is not the official NRaas advice?

Taken from the NRAAS.net site-- they kinda got it almost right:

To enable this functionality in MasterController turn on "Settings \ CAS \ Allow Adult Clothes For Teenagers"

Fixed. That FAQ may have been correct at one time, the mods have gone through a lot of changes over the years.

While that may be so (and thanks), the fact is we are sitting on a huge heap of NRaas mod documentation over there. Much of it is right on target, some is outdated, some is barely readable because the web pages got damaged during our transition to our new site last year. I've sorted out as much of the lower hanging, easy to reach stuff as I could after we moved but we could always use some help and are happy to make corrections when things like this are pointed out along the way.

That's why I, often enough anyway, try to direct players who might be interested back to us at NRaas. It's all much more than a small group of well-meaning but busy site managers who are not ourselves Twallan can really handle. :)

You sound pretty knowledgeable. Any idea why my Kama Simtra isn't showing up on my Master Controller/Advanced/Skills table? I'm very new to KS, but it is installed. I've woohooed 5 times live and 3 cyber.

There is an issue with the KS skill that doesn't affect everyone but once it takes hold it is impossible to get rid of, through which the skill keeps disappearing from sims' skill tabs and the MC interfaces. The solution has always been to clear (delete) the scriptCache file from the top level of the TS3 user game folder in Documents before starting up every time -- or after quitting, which would amount to the same thing.

Also Cyber doesn't always count because sometimes, especially on low or zero skill levels, it ends up with "an unfortunate misunderstanding" or something like that instead of a completed session. But in-person doesn't do that so with 5 of those completed you should be seeing the skill show up.

I've never seen the issue myself, but many of us clear our caches after every game session anyway.

oh yes, blame Google for everything to make your problems go away. maybe i should blame bill gates for causing people to get addicted to xbox and developing toxic behaviour

Hey, I'm surprised at how slow the Woohooer skill advances, even with the quick learning trait. Any way to speed it up a little without simply setting my skill to a high level? I saw a youtube video where the woman said you can assign how many points are needed to reach each level, but I think that was an old video. My game doesn't have that option under nraass.
