Unable to interact with household sim that's now a ghost.

So I had a family of three, a wife, husband, and a toddler. The wife was set on fire from the fireplace and I was desperately trying to get the husband to hurry up and put out the fire, but wasn't fast enough. Wife dies, got her tombstone outside, she visits sometimes. The first time I was able to politely greet her, it showed her relationship with the husband as "fiancee", now I can't interact with her at all and the relationship is now "stranger" and when I try to greet her, they both teleport to a random location and no interaction happens. I've already tried uninstalling to see if it'll fix itself and I'm still having this issue. I'm just trying to get the two to marry again and add her back to the household as a ghost.

To find gravestones of deceased sims, go to the graveyard, click the mausoleum, then choose "manage the dead." You can then select the gravestones of the individuals you want. Depending on what EPs you have, ghosts can be brought back with the "oh my ghost" opportunity, with the "Philosopher's Stone" LTW, throwing a specific elixir at a ghost to turn them back to normal etc. You can see who's died just by being able to manage the dead.

Ambrosia is a food item created by Sims who have reached the top of their cooking abilities.

Thanks so much. I haven't gotten the Opportunity at all yet, not sure if it'll ever show up, so I'll just try the Ambrosia method.

A little update, it fixed itself?? After I maxed out the husband's cooking skill, bought the Ambrosia book, finished reading it, and maxed out his fishing skill, when his ghost wife came back, all of a sudden I was able to interact with her with no problem. Unfortunately, I have to befriend her and marry her all over again. But it works now which is odd, I had a feeling it was a bug that somehow corrected itself even beforehand I tried resetting both sims thinking it would work, when it didn't. I don't understand why this game is buggy. That's unfortunate because it's really fun. But I greatly appreciate your assistance. I guess I'll just keep her as a ghost for the fun of it.
