The Sims™ 3

Fun Bar "stuck"
Hai. So I've been getting back to Sims 3 for a while and it has been mostly bug free until now. I now have a global-type bug for every sim in a town where the fun bar is always moving towards 50 % and never decreases on it's own. You can make it decrease by using the "Work hard" mechanic when you're playing a sim with an ordinary employment, but even after that it will slowly inch it's way back to half the bar. Other than that it will stay on 50 % and never decrease, even when doing the usual boring stuff like working out, repairing something or even just doing nothing. This isn't a huge issue, but it makes an already easy game even easier and I'd like to know if someone knows the cause.

I have tried reloading, turning it off and on again, reinstalling, and ResetSim via the console. I also tried deleting a cache before reinstalling, but that did not affect the gameplay or the bug in any way (assuming it is a bug).

Did you ever use the Make Needs Static cheat? (It's available when shift-clicking on the mailbox with testingcheatsenabled active.) If so, enter "testingcheatsenabled true" again, shift-click on the mailbox, and choose Make Needs Dynamic.

Do you use mods, and if so, have you tested without them? NRaas mods shouldn't do this, but others might, so it's worth testing in a clean game. And if you do use NRaas MasterController, try resetting the entire town: click on City Hall and select NRaas > MC > Town Options > Reset Everything.

Okay, I've just tried the "Make needs static/dynamic" on and off now and I'll see what happens to the fun bar. I think I had Master controller installed back in the day but I've only got Overwatch installed at this point. If the static/dynamic thing doesn't work, i guess i'll get Master controller installed eventually. Regardless if this works or not, thanks.
