I have to clarify though
Because you can get the title in one day in your homeworld timescale when it would take sims weeks or months. No one works in the vacation world so they are always available, unlike in the homeworld where they have a schedule ( and your sim too)
It is very similar to the simfu championship. In china You do one fight/day but when you return to Sunset valley (or whatever world you play) only one sim hour has passed and your sim can complete it's lifetime wish in one day.
To raise the chess hidden skill you simply play chess. Play against someone or training alone works the same. But do not let the sim play chess on a computer, it doesn't raise the skill.
It takes only around 20 sims hours to increase it from 0 to 10 but except the last matchs you win easily with 6 or 7 points in the skill.
