Can't add a gate. (Solved)
I'm fencing in my sims' house, and I want to give it a gate. Problem is, the gate just won't snap in; no matter how I try to place it, the indicator just refuses to turn green. Any ideas on how to do this?

First, not all gates fit on all fences. Second, if you left a gap in the fence, hoping to add the gate there, the gate won't fuse with the fence. You need to make a full, contiguous, fence line. Then add the gate onto a part of the fence. The gate will create its own gap in the fence. I hope that makes sense. I don't know how else to describe it.

Looked this up online, and learned what my problem was: I had the side of the fence facing the street right up against the lot's edge. I moved that side one square farther in, and tried again. This time, it worked.

I forgot about that issue. I'm glad you figured it out. :_wrench_:
