You can do nice characters if add custom sliders to CAS.
Personally i dont like "zbrush" approach of sims 4.
This, and people would buy it.
They only give a ♥♥♥♥ if they can monetize it. I can see 64 bit being a premium upgrade you have to pay 20 per expansion to get.
That would have to be someone who was a glutton for punishment probably, not to mention highly charitable, the code for this game is a nightmare most likely, Twallen wrote a million + lines of code for the NRAAS mods just to make it run smoother.
The truth is EA buried Sims a decade ago, no competition was needed, EA destroyed Maxis and Sims with it, my better half has 35 years and some 400 games in library and she played 4, her verdict was it was trash.
The INZOI game is South Korean, so it will not resonate with a lot of people outside that Country as their games tend to mirror their Cultural Leanings while excluding everyone else, the Life Sim game Genre isn't very Popular these days.
Sims 3 was and is King even if it runs horribly, one can solve these issues for the most part albeit it is a Torturous Headache to do so, and making it Bug/Crash free in close to totality is not possible.
It would be nice if EA would update The Sims 3. Even when launched, it was problematic. However, at this point (over ten years later), it seems the possibility of their double-dipping and releasing a bare-bones update for it, like they just did for The Sims 1 and 2, and pricing it like a new 2025 game, is more likely. Just look at the pricing for The Sims 4 DLC (much of which should arguably be part of the base game).
As an aside, considering the imminent release of InZoi, followed by ParaLives... let's see how EA handles the genre (or if they fold in the towel).
