Is it worth $66.50 for the Collection? In your opinion... Does it bring a lot of Gameplay, or Content?

Sims 3 is my favorite Sims. I can't get into the Sims 4 no matter how hard I try. Sims 2 was great but only focused on a household and not an entire community. So, yes absolutely play Sims 3 regardless of the year, and if you're into modding, there are many mods that enrich the game experience also

yes sims 3 have horses, have adventures. Better than sims 4 all way. I have sims 4 and 4 packs too, but still boring..

I have 2,037 hours on the game. I enjoy playing the families that are pre-made on the game, just to learn about their personalities, but I also make a lot of my own characters and families to create stories of my own. A lot of people, myself included, also enjoy building their own homes. I still have fond memories of a many fabulous homes I have built over the years.

I have a very tight budget, and this game has gotten more of my money than any other, but I feel it has been worth it for the base game and about 6 expansions that I have purchased from sales.

I like both Sims 2 and Sims 3 but play Sims 3 far more often. Sims 4 is, for me, a definite NO. Horrible environment and too many building and customisation restrictions with too little challenge.

Sims 3 very likely runs better now than it did when first issued because more powerful computers permit running more expansion packs smoothly. I guess it depends on the power of your graphics card. I normally have 7 installed though have run 9.

Obviously, you need Vanilla to start then I would suggest Ambitions, University and World Adventures. But it is a matter of choice and you will need to investigate which expansions, if any, will suit you best.

There is a huge amount of content if you go only with the three expansions I suggest. They will give endless hours of entertainment and a lot of different goals to achieve.

If you have not played Sims before and you enjoy sandbox type God games then, YES, Sims 3 is definitely still a good title for 2022.
Sims 3 is what I like, Sims 2 is nice too, you can get the base game on steam and the expansion pack from various sources

Thank you all for the advice, opinions, and /or feedback. I purchased the game

This is by far the best Sims games based solely on the openworld aspect. It's the only one that has an actual living, evolving world where NPCs are actively living their lives... It's was Maxis' last ambitious title before EA finally kicked the bucket with them.
The only issue is with it's performance. It runs like hot garbage on modern Windows because it never received x64 support(Mac users atleast got x64). There are a number of fixes though that can help in the Guides section.

I like Sim 2 but Sims 3 is also a fun game to play. Especially now that it is offered on sale. I completed my sims 3 collection since it's 83% off!

Does Sims3 run om windows 10 or do I need an older windows version to be able to run it?

Yes and no? If that makes any sense.

Both games have their charms and their bugs. Both games are, sadly, shelved in terms of bug fixes. 2 Didn't milk us for every nickle and dime we had though...
