Terrible Uni Roommates

So... despite having like 7 roommates the fraternity is full of dirty clothes and dishes. Was I just unlucky to not have a single one who likes to clean up? Because if it always happens Imma just uninstall university life.

Sadly it always does for me. I delete washing machines so clothes dont spawn in.

the way men live their lives especially the single guys, they'll always be a bit more messy than their sorority counterparts, as women tend to be more tidy about themselves. Honestly it adds a layer of realism around the type of setting and the type of people.

i never add the clothes baskets and washing machines or dryers, i learned my lesson on TS4, it's way more trouble than it is worth to micro-manage.

You just have to kick Harold Assange and the others if you want. Just keep Mahmoud Yavari and miles fortright, they will do the chores autonomously.
Or hire a maid. At the university 125 §/day is nothing when you earn 7500§/day

It is the same problem with the sorority. Samantha grey is a slob

Next time you return the roommates will be different, so maybe no more slob, ( or maybe 7)

Whatever. In the sorority Samantha grey is a slob too and will leave a mess everywhere.
The only difference is Jeffery dean. You should kick him because he has the irresistible trait and it is the worst in the whole game. Sims will do nothing but try to speak to him as soon as he is around. Remove him and they will do the chores ( except Harold Assange)

Samantha Gray is a horrible sim in general anyway. i tend to avoid camping in her place at all costs if my female sims are going out to university.

For the piles of dirty clothes, you'll need to go into Buy mode and put laundry hampers everywhere (deleting the washer and dryer also works, but no "fresh clothes" moodlets). And yes, no one picks up after themselves. If you have Supernatural, you can buy Bonehilda. She'll act like a maid (and scare the daylights out of anyone with the Cowardly trait), but she tends to get stuck raking leaves in Fall if you have Seasons installed.

For the sorority, you can pull Samantha Gray into CaS and swap out her Slob trait for something else. It will help some, but the sorority/fraternity and dorms are supposed to be pretty chaotic places.

Yes, the greek houses are chaotic. The boys fraternity with Ludo Vicco, Harold Assange and Rex Lovelace, the sorority with Samantha grey, Ye gangnam and the worst of all, Annah Germanotta.
But this is what makes the game funny. It is too bad to change the traits of the townies.

It is the same for all the dorms, if you don't have the mad ones you have incorrect or hot headed roommates. Imagine Henry Hall, where you have Ashley Corono, Lizzie Mund, Kaz Nazri and Jacob Salaman. Hell on earth but it is the most funny to play.

Bonehilda is a good idea. But in my game, if I play Tri-fruhm she spends all her time in the swimming pool.
For the dirty laundry I buy baskets and when they are full I delete them (sell) and replace them with new ones. It is also possible to drag the pile of clothes in the washing machine. Someone will eventually switch the machine on ( usually Ashley de Sorrento or Mahmoud Yavari).

Just be a witch or genie and u will have option to clean at once even the cloths too

Three easy solutions. Don't use the dorms, have your own home. Or, use the edit town mode, before sending your sim to uni and build a nice little room on the side of a dorm (don't forget to lock the doors to your private apartment, to keep the others out, as soon as your sim arrives). Or, for a real challenge, send a full house of 8 Sims and control them all.
