Steam is version 1.67 while origin is 1.69

Thinking of buying the whole collection.
Will this affect mods?

Especially overwatch for example?

As long as your mods match the patch level, you'll be fine. Overwatch is not a core mod, so it has one version that works with 1.67, 1.69, and 1.70. ErrorTrap, on the other hand, is a core mod and you need to make sure you grab the version appropriate to your patch level. I don't recall the 1.67/1.69 issue having much of an effect on non-core mods. On my system at least, having the wrong version of ErrorTrap at the time Origin went to 1.69 caused the game to minimize on launch, but it otherwise worked fine once restored to full screen.

The Origin 1.69 is specific to that version, it has no bug fixes, but rather changes to the launcher and DRM stuff so there's no need for it on the Steam version, just like Mac users on Origin have a 1.70 patch specifically for them
