Sim constantly disgusted
My sim is at university and ever since food rot in his inventory the 10m disgusted effect has never ticked down to 0 and vanished. Even after cleaning the whole home and removed and cleaned/trashed all the rotten food.

If you are sure that there is nothing around that causes the moodlet, that moodlet is probably stuck or something like that. You can remove the moodlet using "testingcheatsenabled true" cheat and ctrl+click on the moodlet. Or an alternative you can also use MasterController + Cheats module to get rid of the moodlet. Or if you don't want cheats you can also use Moodlet Manager LTR.

I dont want to use cheats. I will wait one more sim day for when he returns back to the hometown. Maybe that fixes it. And what is Moodlet Manager LTR?

Moodlet Manager is a lifetime reward that you can purchase from the lifetime rewards menu. It gives a device which you can use to remove negative moodlets, and it works on every bad moodlet. Got cursed by a mummy? Done. You are sleepy? Within a matter of seconds your energy is full etc etc.

Don't be afraid to use cheats though because this game is buggy as hell and sometimes it becomes necessary to use cheats or mods.

Edit: Looked it up at the wiki and actually there are only three things that Moodlet Manager doesn't cure: Singed moodlet which is caused by fire (not electrocution), Alien Pregnancy moodlet, and midlife crisis ones. Just wanted to mention that :)

Glad that worked out. Most of the moodlets don't survive traveling, they usually got deleted which is probably why it is now fixed.
Going technical here(because I love tech discussions :D), moodlets that do not have the tag <Travel>True</Travel> will be deleted if you perform any travel actions, including WA destinations, uni and future. (You can see which ones have this by looking at the Buffs.xml in the Gameplaydata.package)

Yeah so this can also be a tip some people can try. Without using cheats at all. If you are rich paying off 1000 to travel back and fourth from the university is no big deal...
