Reload the game.
Do other quests and try again.
Cancel the quest and pick it up again later. It's part of the storyline, so the game will eventually put the quest back on the quest board.
Let your character go back home (when you are ready, or when the game says your days are up). Try the quest again after you have made another trip to China.
One caveat: The game gets a bit confused when you switch the character that is doing the main story. Try to complete the story quests on the character that first started them. Again, even if the game gets confused, it has always eventually fixed things for me.
I still don't use any NRAAS mods yet, so I'm talking about the vanilla version of the game.
