disable public disgrace?

it seems like every day one or more of my sims get falsely accused on something which leaves me with 2 options either getting boo'd at by every sim i walk past in town or i can spend a few sim hours sueing for slander (i tend to lose the case 90% of the time so i stopped doing that) i looked up a way to try and stop this and found nrass story progression
according to all the posts i read if you go to NRaas > SP > General Options > Options:Friendship > Options:Celebrity you will find the "Allow False Accusations" option however my mod seems to be missing that option, so is there any other way i can disable the public disgrace? cause its getting old

With cheats enabled you can simply shift click away the disgrace mood icon, thats what I always do. When the icon is gone then the other sims will treat you normally again.

You can't have all the advantages of celebrity and not the inconvenients.
You can find comfort in the fact that in real life the paparazzi are a lot more annoying than in the game.
It the newspapers don't speak about yo and don't accuse you falsely youwill not remain celeb for long. Scandals and false accusations are part of the celebrity. Where the game fails is theseevents should make you gain celebrity, not lose it.

For your problem maybe you miss a module in story progression. Here is a screenshot of my game. It is in french but it is easy to see the first line is "allow false accusation"

As you see the options are not the same as yours.
You should ask on Nraas forum which module is needed
