login cycle when trying to download something from exchange

ive tried to download a town onto the sims 3 launcher from the exchange that i recently bought but i get stuck in a login cycle, ive entered my email and password right but it keeps bringing up to re enter my password

tried to re validate my files, still not working
reinstalled it still hasnt fixed it

The log in there relies upon Internet Explorer, no matter what your normal browser is. So first, try clearing the cache in IE and see if that helps.

Chiming in a couple of days late on this one, but I recently had to reinstall my game and content and hit the same problem. The work-around that got me past it was to save the content locally rather than try to open it from The Exchange. Once it finished downloading, double-clicking it caused the launcher to install it without asking for a login.
