How d'you get a paparazzo to leave?
There's a specific paparazzo (singular form of paparazzi) hanging around my household's home, and she just...won't...leave. She arrived soon after they moved in (both adults in the household are 5 star celebrities), and she's never left. She just hangs around in the yard. Is there an in-game way to make this NPC Sim leave?

Italian distinguishes between masculine and feminine in its endings. Paparazzo is the masculine singular of the plural paparazzi, but since the offending low-life in question belongs to the female persuasion, the correct term is paparazza. The word for boy is ragazzo, the word for girl is ragazza. Another form for girl shows up in the title of the famous opera La Fanciula del Far West.

Very funny response, though! (because it was not what the original poster asked)

If you have Seasons, maybe they can die from lightning or freezing to death. :steamhappy:

(I doubt this will happen, since the game often just pops these non-household Sims out of thin air when it wants to send one to your lot.)

There are a number of ways, but which ones you have access to depends on what EP you have installed, what age groups the sims in your household are, what jobs they have, and if Supernatural(combined with Pets for Unicorns), Late Night, or Island Paradise are among the installed EP what "Life States"(type of being they are, a.k.a. Human, Ghost, Mermaid, Witch, Werewolf, Vampire, Genie, etc...) they are...

Hmmm, it occurs to me that if you have an alien in the household, you could lure the paparazza out to a vacant lot and then have your alien summon a meteor. The alien could then run out of range, but any other Sims in the area will run to where the giant meteor is falling down. Maybe one or more of them will be killed, maybe not. Again, it's pretty random. Of course, do a save first before attempting this. Also, the game will probably just make another paparazzo(a) to bug you. :cozybrawlhalla1:

Try fencing in your yard and put a locked gate up near your front door. Exclude her (name here) from entering the gate. This helps cut down on the noise if your house is placed mid to towards the back of the lot. Also, if you throw a party she'll sneak in and take photo's.
If not, try talking to her and once she get a photo of the celebrity she'll leave.

I should have figured it would be like that, as Spanish has similar rules and both Italian and Spanish are Romance languages, so they share the same basic rules for gendered nouns, as well as numerous other things. However, it still doesn't answer my question. I appreciate the correction, but it doesn't help my particular situation.

The fencing thing is already taken care of, as every single door on the lot is locked to everyone but members of the household. Haven't tried the picture idea yet; it hadn't even occurred to me to do that. As both adults in the household are celebrities, will she need a picture of both of them, or will just one of them suffice?

First congrats on both sims reaching 5 star. I bet those freebies are nice.

Since your sims are both celebrities have them both try. Simply chat with her then an option to "do something for the camera" or to that effect will appear. Afterwards they should leave.
Keep in mind they will be back sometimes 2 at a time. Typically they want a photo for work and won't leave till they get it.
I had this happen to me and I was almost ready to disable my household from celebrity perks all together. Probably the same girl camped out on our front porch for days.

To manage this I made a gated entrance so they didn't block my doorsteps. Fenced in my backyard so they didn't hangout at my pool parties. Put a bench near my mailbox so they could nap there or order a pizza and not receive the pizza so it was dropped near them.
I found if the paparazzi has nothing to complain about they will usually go home faster.

Very good suggestion. The game usually has a reason for putting Sims on our lot, i.e., our Sim's social meter is low, or our Sim hasn't been dating, or the game thinks we need a better relationship with that townie from another land.
