What you can do though is save your houses down to the household bin in Edit Town. Each one will be represented by a cryptically hexcode named file in the Library folder -- this is in your TS3 user game folder in Documents, not in the Program Files area. You can rename the files, that's not a problem for the game, if you can catch each one as it's saved/created going by its Creation and Modification date/time. Those files can then be transplanted (copied) into the Library folder of your other system.
