Why aren't I getting any gigs?

I've started a new household, and I've started a band consisting of both the sims in my household. Both of these sims are sims I've made, and both of them have a Guitar skill of 7, so I SHOULD have gotten gigs by now. However, I've gotten NO gigs in that time. Both the sims in my household are 4-star celebrities, so I've gotten a bunch of OTHER Oppurtunities, but no gigs whatsoever. I've read that this could be DLC-linked, so here's the list of DLC I have.
Late Night.
Master Suite Stuff.
Supernatural.
Town Life Stuff.
High-End Loft Stuff.
Outdoor Living Stuff.
University Life.
Into the Future.

AFAIK, this seems to be linked to either University Life or Into the Future, as this didn't start until I bought those DLCs.

I don't get gigs either and i have both expansions UL and ITF, but i heard that this is because of ITF expansion messing and even with this bug it's still possible to get the opportunity but it is very rare.

Opportunities with ITF can be fixed with this:

For gigs, you also need appropriate lots. The town that comes with Showtime already has those. If you live in another town, you can place Showtime lots from the lot bin, or customize community lots, so that they can be used with gigs.

Thanks. Just to let know that the mod worked for me and i was able to get one gig at least but it took like 35 days in-game but i think that's ok since before i was never able to get any gigs at all because of ITF expansion.

Sounds like your band is not full, have you tried filling it? I think the max cap on a band is 4 Sims (because when they gig they need to man the instruments on the lot venue, that is 1 Sim in the bass, 1 Sim in the guitar, 1 sim in the drums, 1 sim in the piano). To fill a band either have 4 sims in the same household with at least a point in an instrument skill or invite Sims to form band if you meet and like them around town (I reccomend the first as its easier to manage a full band you have control of than inviting townies to form band anyway)
