Deceased Sims New Neighborhood

Sometimes when I start a new neighborhood a house that is not supposed to have a family will have a ghost family that is supposed to be in the graveyard. Has this happened to anyone else or does anyone know why this happens? It has nothing to do with mods I have deleted the ea folder and let the game create a new one and I uninstalled and reinstalled my game.

There are a few homes where a deceased family member has already died and their ghost haunts the living family members. Some families also have members who will die very soon after you start the game, either from accidents or from illness, and their urns will be located somewhere in the house or yard, depending on where they died. The living family members may move soon after, leaving the "empty" house full of ghosts.

You can take the urns to the graveyard and find a plot to place them in. If the home has a gravestone already in the yard, then you can take that to the graveyard. There is a family in Sunset Valley that lives in the spooky-looking old house, and they have a graveyard on the property where the deceased family members will come out at night.

I've always found at least one "empty" house in a neighborhood that is haunted by a ghost or two.
