Mod That Lets You Travel?
Hey there,
I heard there is a mod that lets you travel to other cities with ur sims.
Does anybody know what this mod is?
It's a shame that functionality isn't in the base game.
Thanks,

Not sure if there are any mods, but the expansion DLCs allow it. Essentially, if the DLC adds a new town, your sims can move to it.

I'm talking about visiting other cities (like you do in Sims 4)

That would be the University DLC and the World Adventures DLC. Even if you move to another city, there's nothing stopping you from going back to the place you left. Heck, University has you doing that every two in-game weeks.

You can travel/vacation in any of the World Adventures locations and the University Life location. If you are talking about travelling/vacationing to Bridgeport or Riverview when your family's home is in Sunset Valley, then I don't think you can do that. You can only move there. I agree that it would be fun to just visit, and I have tried to find a way, but I was only given the option to move.

The Traveler mod from NRaas will allow your Sim to visit other installed worlds.

Do you know how to use this mod? I installed it but can't find the option to travel to other towns.

If World Adventures is installed, then you go to Travel on your smartphone menu. Instead of having just the three WA worlds to choose from, you'll be able to choose from any installed world (including custom worlds).

Without WA installed, I don't know. I suspect that it's the same, but you can go to any computer, click it, and select NRaas -> Traveler to explore its settings.
