Yes that should be fine. There are some people that had problems getting Sims3 to recognize the graphics card, but that can be solved. If you run into that problem then you need to look at this: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-PC/Sims-3-won-t-recongize-my-gtx-1660-ti-I-have-tried-everything/td-p/9150011

that is a very powerful card you will need to limit your fps or you'll fry your card
It will indeed work, my laptops N3700 IGPU would have worked as fine as well I think, if my laptop wouldn't have had 4 GB of RAM, plus better cooling, cooling a laptop CPU is pretty hard, luckily, the Nvidia 920M helped but yeah, 1,6 Ghz base clock sucked, even if 4 times so 4 cores 4 thread.

Anyway, you have 2,6 ghz base clock instead of my 1,6 ghz base and 2,4 ghz turbo, more IPC in your CPU, it will work really well, so don't worry, your laptop is like, way more new than mine was from 2016 .

Also, just be sure to limit your FPS, so your won't fry your GPU, and CPU, cuz CPU is hard to cool on laptop as well, limiting is really good stuff on PC too so your cooling wont have to go overdrive
