The Sims™ 3

Can you age NPC's?
I've tried everything at this point, and I still can't get any NPC to age faster. I wanted my Sim to stay young while everyone in town is old. But I can't seem to find anything that will make NPC's older faster. Is there anyway to make them age faster? Like how you can make your Sim last for a week and then they die.

Enable cheats and use 'trigger age transition' after shift clicking the sim you want to be older, though you can also make them older in CAS.

I'd have to find and age them, which is hard to do. And I also forgot to say I'm trying to age the townies. AKA the NPC's.

Another way is through the birthday cake. Just invite the Sim you want to age and once they are in your house click on the cake and choose the Sim you want to age and that should do the trick.
Edit: This should work on the townies as well, as long as they are in your house.

Yes, but you can only manually age them (NPC's) one by one. I am not aware that there is any mod that can age an entire town, not even Nraas can do that.

I saw someone else do it. So I have no clue how or what can make the town age faster.

In the normal options menu you can change the time it takes in the game to trigger age transition, but that will also affect your own household then and not just the NPC's.

The only thing I can think of is that the Sims were occult life stage that live longer, like fairies or vampares and everyone else in town was human Sim, or that they used Ambrosia or some potion or elixir to either slow down their aging, freeze it or reset it. I don't think there are any other possibilities.

NRaas StoryProgression or Buzzler's Aging Manager mod, not recommended to use both, could be used to halt aging on one or more groups of sims while everyone else continues to age, thus giving the illusion (somewhat) that others are aging faster. But there is no way to speed aging automatically or change the lengths of age stages on selected sims who do not have occult states.

NRaas is awesome for editing mistakes or weeding out a bug, occasionally you might have a sim paparazzi stuck on your lot unable to leave.... close to death... I just use NRaas to reset them home.
