Swimming pool with glass walls

Anyone perhaps know how to achieve that in build mode?

It can be done as there is a building on the future map that has it (1100 Serenity Drive), but I can not reproduce it. So to be clear, the sides of the swimming pool are a glass (windows) wall and from a floor lower you can see the sims swimming through the windows.

I think your trying to say is that you want windows with your swimming pool. So what you need to do is just build a wall around the pool and then put windows on the walls so that you can see your Sims swimming in the pool.

No that does not work. You can not build a wall against the sides of the pool a floor lower, the game won't let you. Also you can not just stick windows on the sides of the pool itself.

No I haven't tried that. I will give that a go and see if it works.

Moveobjects sort of works. You can move the windows to the pool wall, but only one side is transparant after that and the other side keep flashing red. But it is something at least :)

Edit: ahh, it's just a few windows that are transparant at one side, other windows work properly.

Sorry for not responding sooner but, I didn't know that The Sims 3 doesn't let you put walls around the pool. I was probably thinking about The Sims 4 or 2.

Did you using one of Into the Future windows, right? trying another window with similar looking can be works normally. probably that windows have some glitches (it's also have glitches in my game too).

Yeah I first used the future windows that are tinted at one side, they bug out. The other version that is normal transparant at both sides work fine. This is going to be a nice addition to my house designs :)
