Into the future pack question

I downloaded to Into the Future pack and I thought it came with a town, am I crazy?

It does come with a new map, but you have to teleport to it, it's in the future :) Outiside of your home on the starting map a portal should appear after a short time.

The portal appears right at the start of a new game. It has been long enough that I don't remember whether it appears when you first install ITF. If that's not happening, you can buy one in Buy Mode. It's called a Wellsian Time Portal and costs a few hundred Simoleons. Filtering for content from ITF makes it easier to find. Note that it's supposed to appear on a community lot if there is not enough room on your home lot for it (it's a relatively large object) and you should get a notification of where, kind of like the Weather Stone notification from Seasons.

It's possible that the OP is looking for a futuristic homeworld in which to start a new game. ITF does not come with one, Oasis Landing is only accessible from an already existing homeworld, much like the three WA worlds and Uni.

The thing with Sims 3 is that there are neighborhoods, and then there are destinations. Neighborhoods are worlds your Sim can start in, while destinations must be travelled to.
