Nraas MC Question...
I have the Master Controler and the Master Controller Cheat mods installed. Along with Error Trap and Overwatch. I have FINALLY gotten pretty good at knowing how things work, but I'm sure there's still a ton I'm missing. My question is about outfits.
I can best describe my issue with one problem, but I have tried this in many instances and get the same results.
I recently had my teen have a slumber party. I invited the full amount of teens EA allows. Most of them (excpet maybe two) are families I placed in the game. They have all their outfits I hand picked...etc. My problem is with the "remove" outfit or eliminate an outfit option. Several of the kids ended up sleeping in some kind of stupid halloween costume. When I click the "remove outfit" option I get a list of what they have right down to "singed" and "nude" but the halloween costumes they are wearing are not showing up. I tried sending several into the MC CAS and there's nothing there either. (I figured it may be under work clothes which is a tab you get under the MC CAS sytem) I cannot figure out where to go to get these stupid damn things removed. I hate them and it's dumb. What teens trick or treat anyway? Everyone I know stopped at about 12 or 13. And they end up messing up their formal wear too and I end up with prom pics of my teens dressed as cowboys, hotdogs and rockers.

BTW; I did do some research before asking, so I'm hoping there's just somehting I missed that one of you may know to help.

Costumes are in the "Special" CAS category along with other special use outfits like beekeeping, martial arts, and the whimsical outfits children wear when they pretend to be royalty or driving race cars. This category isn't really meant to be messed with directly, doing so can break the sim. Accordingly, it does not show on the MC Remove Outfit command or as a tab in CAS. I would be more interested to know why these teens have such goofy sleepwear (unless that really was a Spooky Day costume party but not from the sound of it) and adjust things from there.

If you Remove Outfit in a category on a sim who only has one outfit in that category to begin with, then just about anything can take it's place. Maybe this is what happened? If not, MC can also be used to just change a sim's outfit and category on the fly, so maybe just putting them back into their Sleepwear might have fixed it.

If you want to play with male pregnancy but not have their midsections disappear when the baby bump is supposed to be showing, you require male maternity outfits. There are many available from MTS, among other places. The same thing happens with teens if you use a mod to allow teen pregnancy and don't have teen maternity (and/or male teen maternity) outfits in stock.

Don't ask what happens when the sim goes into labor, even the NRaas Tagger tooltip says something like "This should not be seen!" :)

haha. No I'm not into male pregnancy, but it was funny to me. I usually just have my gay sims adopt. I just messed up learning how to use the MC tools.

As for outfits, I have not deleted anything. I didn't even know about that special CAS category. There are just a small handful of my teens who seem to constantly be changing into halloween costumes for various parties, sleep-overs, prom...etc. When I look into their wardrobes in CAS everything is normal (what I had put them in) I think it's just an odd glich and it mainly affects one family in particular. I think they are glitchy becuase I often see them getting reset by overwatch and error trap, and if one of them call my main family to go out or hang out as soon as I accept they reset. However, my active sim can all them and they show up fine. Not sure what to do about that family. I've moved them out and back in and it still happens. On a side note: I have that family in a seperate game to themselves and they play fine, so maybe it was something that occured when I saved them to the clipboard?
Also, yes, what I did was just went to "outfit" in MC and put them in their sleepwear. Not a huge deal, but I was hoping for a solution that did not require constantly doing that. Thank you for always being helpful. :-)
