What's the best way to deal with pudding faces?
I'm thinking of getting back into the Sims 3 after a very long hiatus, but I just can't get over the pudding face look for nearly all the townies.

I'll admit, that's one area where the Sims 4 excels imo. At least in the Sims 4, the Sims look like Sims and not Pillsbury Doughboy knockoffs.

I've heard that AwesomeMod has an option that removes pudding face look for NPCs that are generated, but does it work well? Can anyone vouch for it? It's a big mod, so if I end up going through that route, I'm likely going to have to stick with it.

AwesomeMod has its own unique way of dealing with this, yes it is effective, but you have to accept the entire Core Mod and may not like some of its other features that are not able to be customized.

NRaas StoryProgression (together with its SP Population module) and its Advanced Genetics function offers a very different approach. One does have to accept SP being in control of progression in order for things to have any impact. The mod and its impact on NPC generation are extremely customizable and we still offer support at NRaas for anyone who needs it.

Note that both mods are easily removable if either one doesn't work out, although Awesome requires a simple pre-removal uninstall procedure first if one is expecting to bring a saved game forward without the mod in play.

Oh hey! Awesome, thanks for the explanation. Yes, I currently use NRaas, but mostly stuff like ErrorTrap. I appreciate that mod and wiki greatly! So I guess it seems like whatever mod I use, SP will need to be overhauled to make any changes to the Doubh boy army? fair enough, thanks for the explanation. Ive never used an SP mod, so I'll have to read through both of the features for NRaas and Awesome to come to a decision.

Man, if there was a Sims 3 with the Sims 4 graphics/Sims, that would be the ultimate Sims game :/
