My horses dont mate

Well, that, I click the option for them to mate but they just smell eachother and nothing

Sorry, them nothaving a stable to use was the only thing I could think of.

Hmm... kinda reminds me of the time my P.I. sim kept insisting on canceling his task and heading home even when in the actual process of whatever the case was he was working on...even though free-will had been turned off completely already in an attempt to force him to finish it. (only did that for one case, but was REALLY annoying...)

Sometimes a sim, or sim-horse, simply does NOT do what they are supposed to and I have absolutely no idea why...

You have to take it to the Equestrian center to breed

Not usually to breed them with each other, mine never did anyway. The stable on the property was enough. Though they COULD be put up for stud or hire a stud at the Equestrian Center.

This happened with my female unicorn and male horse. I have a stable with nothing blocking the path, and when I click 'romantic' then 'try for foal', they nuzzle and go towards the stall but they never go in.

I was having the same issue and I’m not sure if you’re still having this issue considering it’s been FOUR YEAR! BUT for anyone else, when I put a stall on my lot my horses finally tried for a foal! not sure if your stall was on your lot but that’s what helped me!
