Best Reliable Site To Get The Sims 3 + All DLCs For The Cheapest

I used to play this game a whole lot when they were actively working on expansions and had the physical copies of the game and some expansions. It's been a long time since then and I would like to buy the digital copy of it and all the DLCs but the price on Steam is ridiculous especially considering that the Sims 4 has been released for nearly 6 years now and they haven't even lowered the price on anything.

I've tried to do some searching myself and found a site (Discount Mall) that was selling the game and all the DLCs for only 25 dollars, which seems really sketchy so i'm having a hard time trusting it. I've seen a few other sites but I would like to know what you guys think is the most trustworthy site that I could buy the Sims 3 and all the DLCs on.

You are wise to be skeptical. I mean, if a deal especially on a product still up for sale by its manufacturer seems too good to be true, it probably is. What "Discount Mall" is offering up there is a pirated version of the game and its packs plus store content repackaged up on either discs or a digital download as if there were some legitimacy to it. It may not work well, there would be no support for it and it wouldn't be compatible with a pre-existing install in any way, it can't be patched up to current levels if it's the version we have tried (but failed) to help players with elsewhere, and most likely mods will not work with it.

Strange as it may seem, although opinions are divided on this, a great place to get a legitimate install of the game at a decent price is right here at Steam. But not at the regular prices unless you must have the base game and maybe an EP or so to play RIGHT NOW, rather at the deep discount sales that Steam offers a few times per year. Some of them are surprises and unscheduled, but usually the summer sale that begins in the last week of June is one of the best ones. After getting fed up with Origin, I repurchased the base game and all 19 packs that Steam offers that way at something like 80% off a couple of years ago. The whole thing, not including store content and worlds that I already had on my account and still work anyway, was less than $100 USD.

The second choice would be through Origin or some other properly authorized re-seller, but the much more seldom occurring sales on the game that way usually tend to be not much of a discount.

Alright thank you for reassuring me I will make sure to stay away from that Discount Mall. Since the summer sale is only like a month away I might as well just be patient and wait to buy it when that comes around.
