SIMS 3: Got all As at University, Graduated with an F
Has anyone else had this problem? I worked my behind off to get 4 Sims through University with all As on the exams, only to graduate with Fs on their degrees and no jump start to their careers.

I have never seen this before and the only way I can think of that it could be intended is if the sims were "caught cheating" along the way. But you would know that as there would usually be a hearing they needed to attend at the Admin Bldg that will either clear them of all charges or dismiss them and send them home, in which case I doubt they would be allowed to keep their grade reports intact. The one time I played sims who really did cheat their grades in-game and got caught, their hearings were scheduled at the same time as their second finals. One was dismissed and sent home in shame, the other was cleared by talking their way out of it somehow but thus missed their second final and ended up failing anyway.

Although it should be noted, final exams are important but only part of the grade calculation and these two goofy sims of mine never went to classes or did any studying anyway because I was playing them that way. For those whom we play properly, they need to have maintained their grades through coursework, actually attending classes and lectures, practicing with their assigned learning object, and things like skilling up on some of their major's associated skills along the way. I'd love to see their final grade report, if you have one available to share as a screenshot.

If not averse to using mods, NRaas DebugEnabler has a command that will allow you to fix that from their homeworld with just a few clicks and without having to travel back to Uni World.

No, none of my Sims cheated. They stayed away from parties and things like that (I know, totally unrealistic). They passed all tests and the finals with "flying colors" and got all As on their report cards. However, their degrees have an F on them and they started careers at level 1 where the majors would have gotten them at level 4. Oh well, I kept playing and got them advanced, so no point going back. Thanks for the info, though!

I think I figured out how this happened. I pushed my university Sims to get their degrees in one two-week session at maximum course load. Since then, I've always used two sessions to get them graduated and have yet to get an undeserved F.
