Help with University sims game
I enrolled my sim for two years paid for two years, after the first year was told to go home and relax then enrol back but when I did I had to pay again? So, I did, then after graduation with flying colours, still not got diploma and shows I still need to continue. I was hoping to finish after two years and not had paid it twice and start my career choice. Is this a glitch? I don't want to be a full time student.

If I'm understanding correctly, you enrolled for two terms ("years" doesn't work very well), and were sent back to your home neighborhood after one term. When you enroll, you choose how many credits you're enrolling for. The top choice counts as one term (one Sim-week) while the bottom choice counts as two terms (two Sim-weeks) and there is a slider for how many credits (one, two or three classes) for the term. I've never run into a situation where my Sims got sent home early, but have misclicked at enrollment and ended up with one term rather than two. You get charged each time you enroll, so that part is completely normal behavior.

As far as the graduation, you have to accumulate 48 credits to graduate. The "flying colors" description goes with your academic performance at the end of each term (Sim-week) and it applies to the final exams for your courses rather than your degree. You should have received a report card at 8 a.m. or so on Saturday that showed your grade for each class (probably an A if you got the "flying colors" message).

Once you have 48 credits accumulated, you'll do the graduation thing at about 1 on Saturday afternoon. This part of the university experience can be a bit hinky since everyone congregates outside the arena and there is only one door. I have run into situations where my Sim ended up at the end of the line, never made it inside, and didn't graduate, so best advice is to send your Sim to the arena early, keep them from wandering off, and make sure they are at or near the front of the line. Also, make sure that you manually save your game (Save As) as soon as you come out. You'll transition back to your home neighborhood around 8 and that transition doesn't always work well (install the Traveler mod from nraas.net to help with that), so having a save to revert to if it goes south is a good thing.

I have to agree that the flying colors thing doesn't sound like the sim was ready to graduate, it sounds more like a very good report card for one term. Just wanted to point out that there are mods available to help cut through the mess of a stampede to get into the Annex when the actual graduation ceremony occurs or one can skip the whole thing and use NRaas DebugEnabler once back home to be granted the correct degree in the correct major with all of the career and trait benefits conveyed that would otherwise come along with it.

But yes, if the intention is to not "cheat" then 48 credits (8 single week long courses or 4 double week courses) is still the requirement. It is not possible to get that many credits all in one go unless one does extremely well on the entrance exam and gets a huge head start to begin with. Except for my over-achievers who are probably going to end up getting multiple degrees anyway just because I find that kind of thing fun, I usually relax a bit and don't mind having to send my sims through the Uni experience two, three, or more times until they accumulate enough credits to be considered finished.

While that's indeed all very time consuming in terns of real life time, the balance there is that sims do not age while attending Uni so they could theoretically go for 12 terms (yeesh) and still not be older than a YA when finally finished. :)
