HOW do you install Roaring heights on steam

I bought it off origin for 20-30 bucks and i went on the sims3 website to buy it, it redirected me to origin, bought it, it says its in my transaction history, but i do not see the pack and it gives me an option to BUY it again telling me i don't own the sims3 on origin, please help, i don't want my money wasted, i paid for the world and i should be able to transfer it to the steam files but how??

I would use the sims 3 launcher like everything else.

Start with initiating the download from the online site, which should then pop-up/open the Sims 3 Launcher window - while it downloads the file to your local hard drive.

Then you need to find it under downloads in the Sims 3 Launcher - one of the buttons on the left side of the window, then scroll down through the list on the right pane - to install it to the game.

I recommend re-booting your computer before trying to play the game after said install.

Then you should be able to find the 'World' in the list of towns on the way into the game.

Origin stuff can not be transferred to steam, steam stuff can though be transferred to origin

Except you can use the towns bought from Origin on Steam.

It's more accurate to say that Expansion and Stuff packs bought on Origin do not work on Steam.

Anything bought as a downloadable through the Sims 3 Store (even if you have to pay through Origin) is installable on steam.
