A Cheater is faithful glitch?

So in one of my sim games (I have multiple files up each for different maps and households) my husband went to his first job as a ghost hunter and cheated on me with the first girl he saw. He got the naughty reputation for it and in true sims fashion I started plotting how he was going to die for it. However while I was thinking it over he kept cheating, and now he has the faithful reputation with his side chick! Is this a glitch? I hope it is, I don't know how he can be seen as faithful to the other woman in his life in the eyes of the community. I know it's for her and not me too since the game told me that he's so faithful to her that they're seen as faithful now. I'm also now his fiancee instead of his wife in relationships while she's his girlfriend so it's just a huge mess really. We never got divorced or anything, my sim never even accused him of cheating. I'm not really sure what's happening anymore

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong on this, but the "Naughty" reputation only requires that there be two or three romantic relationships. Cheater requires that the Sim be caught by their partner. You (the player) know what's going on, but you (the Sim) don't until you catch him at it or hear about it from another Sim. At that point, your Sim would get the Betrayed moodlet.

The Faithful moodlet strikes me as being a glitch, though. I think you are only supposed to get it if you have had one relationship and it is still ongoing, but naughty kind of violates that rule. Typically, getting a Sim from one of the negative reputations (Naughty, Manipulator, etc.) requires breaking off all or all but one outside relationships, using the Clean Slate LTR, and then not doing it again.

I've had the Faithful and Eternally Faithful moodlets glitch on me in some humorous situations. One was a sim with one active steady and 31 romantic interests in all different connected worlds, none of whom he was ever even remotely trying to be faithful to. Others have been NRaas Woohooer KamaSimtra working professionals, where the moodlet makes even less sense.

But hey, if the sim wants to think they are being faithful to someone or something, who am I to stop them from enjoying their delusions? :)
