The Sims™ 3

IT looks like you have installed an unofficial game modification that does not match your current version of the sims 3.
I recently install some Nrass mods for the sims and i keep getting the message when i try to launch and it goes away when i take out the error trap mod?

Yep! In case it helps others as well, there are six TS3 Core Mods out there in popular usage. NRaas ErrorTrap happens to be one of them. Only Core Mods care about the internal build numbers, which are different between Patches 1.67, 1.69 (both are considered current) and Origin/disc vs. Steam, and will display that message if there is a mismatch.

If that's the only reason for the warning though, it's harmless. As long as one isn't trying to use a Core Mod meant for a much lower patch level, specifically 1.63 or below, on an up to date game then no real harm will be done by dismissing the annoying warning. Current Steam installs are always up to date, to Patch 1.67.

Nevermind I didn't see you needed to install a specific version of this mod for steam, fixed it!
