Why only sunset valley?

I downloaded the game since 2016, but the map only shows sunset valley, none other than that. PLUS i tried to download DLC to try a new map/feature but i cant play the DLC's content. Can anyone Help me?

only the expansion packs provide new maps or if you install user created ones from the sims 3 store or whatever that site is called

where can i download the expansion packs? anything to do with the origin?

There are also thousands of player-made worlds, some of them brilliant some not so much, available from sources other than the TS3 Store and the Exchange. I like Riverview though, that's a good one to start out with when exploring new worlds and if not quite ready for the Expansion Packs and store content.

Sure, but sorry...the link to what, exactly?

Riedy already provided a link to the 11 Store worlds, which includes Riverview. Again that one is free, provided you have your base game registered with EA (Origin is not a requirement).

The Expansion Packs for a Steam base game install are available for sale here though Steam, a link was also provided. The ones that come with new homeworlds are Ambitions, Late Night, Pets, Showtime, Supernatural, and Island Paradise (the world that comes with IP is design-flawed and needs some fixing up first before it can be used). Three of them come with worlds that your sims can visit and return home from -- World Adventures (three foreign worlds), University Life, and Into the Future.

If what you meant was links to player-made worlds, those are all over the place because custom world designers tend to have their own websites or collaborate on one with others. This page on our site at NRaas lists out some of our members' favorites (sorry, the category headings towards the end are a bit confused, we have to fix that). But there's a lot of browsing to be had there because if you find a site you like on the list such as My Sims Realty, you will find that they have many more than the worlds we have listed there to look at and consider.
