Can't find my house!

I started building a new house. I went to Edit Town to save it, and now I can't find it again in the town in order to keep building it. Too many houses!! How do I find the one I was building?

Use the computer in the library to look at your properties. It lists the addresses there so you can use the town map to find them.

I'm afraid I don't understand. I don't have anything on any menu called "Library".

They mean the public library community lot. Most if not all of them come with in-game computers inside.

Not sure that will really point you towards the right lot under construction if your active household does not own it, though. This isn't really helpful for the moment either, but guess what I might have done is at least temporarily have placed a large unusual object on the lot or maybe paint the outside of the house a very unusual color so that it's easier to find on the next game session at least until the construction phase is finished. Or I might have given it the (Player) Ownable residential lot type in Edit Town so that it picks up a different looking lot tag from most of the others around it.
