The Sims™ 3

The Sims™ 3

Top 3 Favorite Worlds?
Just curious what your favorite worlds are? I just came back, been playing sims 4 since it came out and forgot how fun sims 3 was. I forget what each world is like. I have em all on origin.

1) Sunset Valley (I remember playing this the most)
2) Starlight Shores (clubs seem a bit emptier than I remember)
3) Isla Paradiso (I loved this, but haven't played it since I've come back)

What are your favorite worlds?

If I'm restricted to official worlds:

1. Moonlight Falls
2. Twinbrook or Appaloosa Plains (I flip-flop)

If I can go with Store worlds, Moonlight Falls flip-flops with Hidden Springs.

If I include Store:

1. Roaring Heights: I just really like the color palette used in this world. And some of the designs around the town are really good.
2. Dragon Valley: Love the Celtic feels.
3. Moonlight Falls: Lots of empty lots to put all those Store content in.
Honorable Mention: Midnight Hollow, Lucky Palms

Non-store excluding Moonlight Falls
1. Oasis Landing: Especially love the lot design in this.
2. Bridgeport: A bit laggy but still cool.

And that is about it for non-store stuff. I don't really like the worlds that are in the expansions that much aside from those three I mentioned above.

1. Riverview
2. Dragon Valley
3. Tie between Monte Vista and Bridgeport

Runners Up: Twinbrook and Sunlit Tides

I never play custom player-designed worlds except occasionally to help test them out for others, but some of the more famous ones also have very loyal followings.

Rarely play custom worlds too, to be honest. As for EA worlds, I have to admit I never got Midnight Hollow. I have all the others, though and played each. My top 3, however, are these:
1.) Moonlight Falls (Big and cosy, fitting the theme of the EP)
2.) Lunar Lakes (Always fan of sci-fi and this one really caught me)
3.) Riverview (I spent so much time in this country world. Definitely more then I did in Sunset Valley. Maybe because I am from Central Europe and this fits more to what I am familiar with than sea-bound SV)
Honourable mention goes to Apaloosa Plains and Oasis Landing for pretty much the same reasons as Riverview and Lunar Lakes respectively.

My absolute Favourite is Sunlit Tides you don't see the Sea at other Worlds like this... all around a stunning View.... Beaches and beautiful Houses and Parks... I like Bridgeport too the City View at Night is so beautiful... My Third would be Riverwiev/Hidden Springs...

How do you play the world "Roaring Heights" on The Sims 3? I could not play it! It just would NOT show up in the list of downloads, I certainly could NOT play it on Origin. Is there a solution to this situation?

EA Store worlds are not available from Origin. In these cases, Origin can be used as a purchasing agent, but the worlds themselves need to be downloaded from the TS3 Store and installed by way of the Launcher like any other store content. Origin only manages the base game and the Expansion/Stuff Packs.
