The Sims™ 3

Too Hot
All my sims ever are since installing the " Seasons " DLC I can't even play the game because of my sims being either too hot, does anyone know other ways to cool them off other then water, jusice and/or swimming because all three of those aren't working.

If anyone could also provide me a link to a site with air conditioner mod download that'd be great too.

Going inside for a simhour or so usually cools them off again. Also, if you're not adverse to using mods, Nraas's Tempest mod could help with that.

Might be a way for your Sims to tell you they would appreciate having a (swimming) pool?

Typing NRaas Tempest into google leads right to it: https://www.nraas.net/community/Tempest

Are they really inside already though when this happens? If you have a break in your home's roofing, it's been known to let rain and snow inside. Seems reasonable that the same could happen for hot/cold temperatures so perhaps your sims aren't cooling off (or warning up in the winter) when inside as they should because the game, in part, is still seeing them as "outside."

Try going on to the buy menu and in the outdoor section, there is a sun parsol you can buy to protect from the Sun, maybe that helps?

It's hot in the fall? Must be global warming! ( Just kidding, if you use cheats, you can change the temperature, season, or weather by holding down shift then clicking the ground) If you do not cheat then you should invest your sims' lifetime happiness points in the "Climatron Control Unit". It's expensive and you use it too much, then you might get struck by lighting, but it can make it snow in the summer! (I used it once on a summer day that was 103 degrees, I used the "Climatron Control Unit" then when it was snowing at -3 degrees!) If neither of these work then good luck trying the fix that massive hole in the ozone layer! :steamhappy:
